In team there are different types of people with different skill sets, some are excellent at planning, some are strong in execution. Leaders generally do mistakes in assigning task and identifying people. They could not identify the role in which a specific person can perform well and can deliver better than others. A fatal flaw of most leaders in their early years is their need to choose people who talk like them, look like them, went to same school as them. Even mighty Akbar lost Birbal because of a pig-headed insistence that if Birbal didn’t fight in battle, he could no longer be Navratna. Birbal went to war, died and his body was never found.
