Vivek express - with 82.5 hours makes longest journey in India. From deep northeast (Dibrugarh) to the very tip of the peninsular subcontinents (Kanyakumari), it travels 4,286km across most of the length and about half the breadth if India each week. The train sets out on Saturday from both terminus stations, and arrives at the other end of its journey on Wednesday.
